What is the Program About?

The program begins with the entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial managers themselves. Module 1, Self-Mastery, focuses on the entrepreneurs or managers as the most crucial component of their enterprises. This module will allow them to assess themselves through exercises that would enable them to understand themselves better – and how their personalities affect the way they conduct their relationships and businesses. It aims to develop the Seven Self Mastery skills of Learning to Think, Learning to Intuit, Learning to Feel, Learning to Do, Learning to Communicate, Learning to Lead, and Learning to Be. The module also intends to help build the self-confidence and self-esteem of participants in order that they may live and celebrate life to the fullest, and realize their potentials.

In Module 2, participants will gain a wider perspective of their environment by learning the crucial skill of external assessment. This process is divided into four levels: Macro Environment, Industry, Sector and Area Analysis, and Market and Micro Market. This provides them with an analytical framework as guide in assessing the business environment.

Module 3 moves the participants back to their own enterprise by learning how to do an internal assessment. Here, they will be asked to evaluate their enterprise’s performance through the organizational diagnosis framework that will be taught – the 10 Levels of Internal Assessment.

Module 4 shall be an integration of their first three modules. It shall align all elements of the Right to Left Planning framework, the Strategic Planning Process that is the backbone of the MBA-MEM program. This process is also known as VMOKRAPI-SPATRES, an acronym for (Vision, Mission, Objectives, Key Result Areas, Performance Indicators, Strategies, Programs, Activities, Tasks, and Resources).

Module 5 encourages the participants to apply their learnings. In this module, the participants shall have in-depth sessions on the different functional areas of Marketing, Operations, Human Resources, and Finance. Together with the External and Internal Assessment which they have previously done, strategies for each functional area are developed in this module.

Finally, all applications will be further imbibed through Module 6, The Manager’s Tool Kit. As implied in the title, participants are provided with a menu of practical and specific courses that will equip them with skills that are relevant and readily adaptable to their work. Given the nature of their enterprise / unit, they will be exposed and immersed in processes that will be most helpful to their enterprise – they just have to select from this menu.
